Why do you practice Reiki?

I practice Reiki because I love to see the results people get from the treatments as well as knowing I am assisting them in releasing the blockages in their body which impede their forward growth physically as well as spiritually.

How long is a typical Reiki session?

A typical Reiki session begins first with a detailed case history of the client, followed by a treatment approximately 1 hour in length. I follow up with some counselling after the session in order for the client to understand what was done during the treatment and how to move forward. Treatments vary in length from 1.5 - 2hours. I take my time and provide the client with the attention they require.

Why do people come to see you rather than another practitioner of Reiki?

I also offer Spiritual Counselling, Shamanic Divination and Journeying as part of my Private treatment sessions, as required.

What is the most important thing you have learned from practicing Reiki?

Probably the most important thing I have learned from practicing Reiki is to have non- attachment and no expectation of the outcome. This is sacred work where I am merely a conduit for the healing energy of Source to flow through. As a practitioner, I work on myself to become a more open channel by clearing my own issues as they arise, so that I can be fully available to the client during their session.

List any additional complementary techniques that you practice

I also practice and teach Axiatonal Re-alignment, which works to re-connect and align the meridian lines of the body to enable your energy system to function smoothly, as it rejuvenates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of our being. It aligns the cosmic grid in the client's energy field by correcting blockages and imbalances. I also offer private Foot Reflexology treatments which help to promote relaxation, release tension, improve lymphatic and cardiovascular circulation, drainage and elimination, bringing the body back into balance.

What is your Reiki Lineage?

My Usui Lineage is Usui Shiki Ryoho. I also have Karuna Reiki® and Blue Star Reiki lineage. I studied with renowned Reiki Master, Donalda Loucks.

What is your philosophy of healing/ treatment?

I firmly believe that in order to heal, a client must accept responsibility for the state of their own health. This includes behaviors, attitudes, habits, etc. that do not serve them in their growth. These are things they must be willing and ready to face and want to change as they work through their healing. When a client understands this and wants to effect a change in their lives, Reiki treatments enhance and enable them to do their own work on the path to good health - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Do you practice or teach Reiki?

I do both. I offer certification courses in Usui, Blue Star and Karuna Reiki® at all levels, as well as provide private Reiki and Reflexology treatments to clients. I also offer a course in Axiatonal Re-alignment.

Who is an ideal client for you?

An ideal client is one who is ready to make changes in themselves for their Highest Good. We all have thought patterns, behaviours, habits that we know are not doing us any good in being healthy or moving forward on our spiritual path. A client who is aware and willing to affect a change, is one who can heal and release what is holding them back in life. A sincere desire to heal and do your own work is important.
